Babka kolorowa

Składniki:
  • 250 g masła/margaryny
  • 6 jajek (białka oddzielone od żółtek)
  • 1 - 1,5 szklanki cukru
  • 2 szklanki mąki pszennej tortowej
  • 1 cukier wanilinowy (16 g)
  • 2 łyżeczki proszku do pieczenia
  • 1/2 szklanki oleju słonecznikowego
oraz:
  • 1 kisiel cytrynowy
  • 1 kisiel wiśniowy (ja dodatkowo dodałam kroplę czerwonego barwnika spożywczego, dla wyraźniejszego koloru; z kisielem wiśniowym wyszedłby kolor różowy)
  • 1 łyżka kakao
  • 1/2 szklanki suchego maku
Wszystkie składniki powinny być w temperaturze pokojowej.
Masło utrzeć z cukrem w misie miksera, do puszystości i białości, dodawać żółtka (stopniowo, jedno po drugim) i ucierać. Pod koniec ucierania dodać olej i dalej ucierać.
Mąkę wymieszać z proszkiem do pieczenia, przesiać i delikatnie wmieszać do ciasta.
Białka ubić na sztywno i delikatnie wymieszać z ciastem, szpatułką.
Powstałe ciasto podzielić na 4 równe części. Do każdej z osobna dodać: kisiel cytrynowy, wiśniowy, kakao, mak.

Babka marmurkowa

Składniki:
  • 2 szklanki mąki pszennej
  • 1 i 1/4 łyżeczki proszku do pieczenia
  • szczypta soli
  • 225 g miękkiego masła
  • 1 szklanka drobnego cukru
  • 4 duże jajka
  • pół łyżeczki ekstraktu z wanilii
  • pół szklanki mleka
  • 120 g gorzkiej czekolady lub 3 łyżki kakao
Wszystkie składniki powinny mieć temperaturę pokojową.
Mąkę i proszek przesiać, wymieszać z solą. Masło ubić mikserem na najwyższych obrotach do otrzymania puszystej, jasnej masy (około 3 minut). Dodać cukier i dalej ubijać (2 - 3 minuty). Dodawać jajka, po kolei, miksując po każdym dodaniu. Masa pod koniec może się lekko zwarzyć, ale nie ma to wpływu na efekt końcowy. Dodać wanilię i zmiksować.

raspberry thumbprint butter cookies
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • raspberry jam

Preparation Instructions:

1. First, leave the margarine or butter out to soften to room temperature.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius), and move the rack to the highest position.
3. Cream the vanilla into the butter or margarine. Then add the powdered sugar and cream it in too. Once it is well mixed, add the flour a little at a time and mix in. Stir until the dough has a smooth consistency.
4. Roll the dough into balls one inch in diameter. Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart. Press your thumb into the center of each cookie, squishing it a bit and making a little well in the middle. (Do not press all the way through the ball, though!) Spoon a dab of raspberry jam into each well, filling it but taking care not to let them overflow.
5. Bake on the high rack for 12 minutes, or until just barely starting to brown at the edges.
6. Let cool on the pan for a minute, then transfer to a rack to cool to room temperature. Enjoy!

  • kilka łyżek twardej marmolady np. wiśniowej
Masło umieścić w misie miksera i zmiksować na jasną, puszystą masę. Dodawać cukier, cały czas ucierając. Dodać żółtka, ekstrakt z wanilii, zmiksować.
Do masy maślanej dodać mąkę pszenną, mąkę ziemniaczaną, sól i zmiksować na gładką masę.
Masę ciasteczkową przełożyć do rękawa cukierniczego z tylką Wilton 1M.*
